Metal4Free - Initiative gegen Pay-to-Play im Metal
Verfasst: 07.12.2011, 22:34
==ENGLISH VERSION BELOW!==
Metal-Fans,
For the Metal - up the irons!

Metal-Fans,
the pay-to-play-discussion returns again and again, but never has an effect. Mainly big events like the METALFEST presume to lure underground bands with dubious contracts, who only end up paying: Financially, the journey alone is a loss, and every visitor of a festival knows, how many people watch bands on midday...
And this happens to an underground scene that is full of good musicians and ideas!
The initiative METAL4FREE wants to reveal, which events do pay-to-play, and before all let the fans know what happens! Because many fans go to their favourite festival or tour and don´t know at all, that the neighbourship-band payed a lot of money to be allowed to play!
This is a call-up to magazines and organizers: Join in!
Magazines should write wenn they notice that an event is doing such a rip-off!
Organizers and promoters can get an anti-p2p-button from us to playce it on your website, facebook-profile and so on!
