"Zobens un Lemess" 2016 festival Latvia (ROTTING CHRIST, SKYFORGER, LUCTUS

Music that embraces ancient force, clanging of the swords, mild and supple melodies, heavy guitar thundering and incredible feeling of togetherness in picturesque landscape of Sēlija todays ethnic music and ancient crafts unite together in festival Zobens un Lemess, which will take place on July 8-10 in Viesīte municipality, Lone, Latvia.
After debut this year, festival Zobens un Lemess will provide attendants not only with rich musical program, but also with different educational and entertaining activities in duration of three days. Ticket sale starts on 3rd of December, purchase tickets online on ticketshop.lv, fist hundred tickets cost 19 , after announcing first performers, ticket price will increase.
It is intended that festivals musical line up will contain more than 20 bands, playing ethnic music, folk-rock and folk-metal styles. Ancient crafts workshops, educational lectures about history, historical reconstruction clubs demonstrations, knights battles and medieval games - all will take place in festival Zobens un Lemess 2016. During the night, in the shadow of magnificent fire sculptures, outdoor cinema will be demonstrating documental movies.
During the festival, there will be guarded camping for night rest in tents. In marked area - meadow next to the festival territory, will be access to all necessary services: toilets, medical services, water, qualitative feeding service, refreshing drinks and possibility to enjoy picturesque Saukas lake shore.
Already first festival Zobens un Lemess achieved positive and approving references from music reviewers and festival attendants, especially highlighted was the atmosphere in the festival and the quality of musical program.
