Incubus - Serpent Temptation (Deluxe Edition)
Endlich habe ich dieses Ding! Und zudem noch in einer tollen Aufmachung.
Weiss jemand genau um was für ein Exemplar es sich hierbei genau handelt? Leider habe ich dazu keine genauen Infos gefunden und bis das Ding von Mexiko im Alpenland ist, dauert das noch eine Weile.
Da habe ich ja was dazu gefunden:
"I have been a metal fan for over 25 years. I started with vinyl and soon got on to CD. I must say that I totally dislike mp3's...metal music must be physical in a form and not just a file...soon I started getting all my vinyl also on CD. But more than once I found out jewels that for one reason or another NEVER had a proper CD version. Due to my job as a publicist, I had contact with a studio owner whom I gave some of my precious jewels to be on CD, and I was very strict on keeping the sound intact. Through some other contacts I had people that can make promotional material in low quantities, yet still totally professional. Result of that is these CD. At the beggining I just wanted to have my very own CD in the most professional way, but found a few more friends that wanted one. So a few more were made. If this edition makes someone to move out and release it using the master tapes, then my job is done. But maybe some of those master tapes are lost forever, damaged or the band members do not care anymore. So for now, this is the only way to get it in a CD, with the intention of NEVER letting this great music die. Joao, somewhere in South America, October 2010."
Interessant - wenn nun die Qualität in Ordnung ist, dann war das ein richtiges Schnäppchen. Vorallem weil man für die Original einfach mindestens 60-70 Euro hinlegen muss. Und das ohne dem schicken Poster...
