Emerging from the gutters of Solothurn, Berne and Basel, the Band quickly got attention in the BM Scene due to the media-hyped controversy unleashed by their formal Members, M., C. and K. All three Bandmembers faced charges for serious hate crimes and other violent crimes. In January 2018 two female politicians of the Social Democratic Party (SP) pressed charges against C. after they received graphic pictures on their personal facebook account showing C. naked with an axe defecating on a koran. C. and M. were also known for their extremely aggressive behaviour on stage and in public. In June 2019 N. Kvarforth, leadsinger of the Band Shining, has been seriously injured with a crowbar during a concert in Zurich when M. and K. intruded the backstage area to quote "show this swedish faggot some real bm".
Also due to continuing differences between M. and NWN-Productions several NWN affiliated Bands received videotaped terror threats which upon charges were filed.

All three Albums of CB have been banned in Switzerland.
